The cold-cold world

Zephyr kissed my cheeks.Snowy woods around.Yet, i feel so warm.
I see the smiling bright sun.Autumn leaves dancing to the ground.Serene and exultant,
I wonder if this is the world I live in.I hear no tantrum.I hear no ruckus.This is my world
where i am the only tribe alive.I speak to the sylvan lands.I sing rock to the valleys.
I walk on my silhouette, basking in the sun's morning warmth.My frenzy shadow conspires to me.
I see a desperado in it.Speaks to me in whispers.

"Your world intimidates a devil for it is prophesied."

Trrinng trrinngg trumm trummm trriingg trriinnggg trummm trumm....

I banged the alarm clock,groped for my specs.I feel really torpid to wake up specially on college days.I walked lazily to the door to pick up the morning news paper,started skimming at things all colorful though indifferent to me.There was this one thing I stopped at.It had some statistics regarding child deaths.

• 1 child dying every 3.5 seconds
• 17-18 children dying every minute
• A 2004 Asian Tsunami occurring almost every 1.5 weeks
• An Iraq-scale death toll every 16–38 days
• Over 9 million children dying every year

The silent killers are poverty, hunger, easily preventable diseases and illnesses, and other related causes."

This froze me completely for a couple of minutes.I could connect with the devil the shadow in my delusions prophesied about.

This has always been a coldworld.Wish I could live in the world of my pipedreams forever.
This could probably be counted as one of the reasons for my agnoticism.When there is really
this thing called God, why is there so much suffering? I had many arguments over my audacious behavior at home and at college,in matters concerning my disbelief in God.I brooded over such things to the peak of my patience,read senseless stuff but nothing could suffice me with a valid reasoning.

All you religious fanatics around the world.Can you please tell me what are the sins all these innocent kids paying for?
